What? Are you looking at me?
Today, we had the unexpected chance to have lunch with D. at his office. C. and Corduroy loved eating the grass and I loved spending time with D. Somehow, I can't get tomato pie out of my mind. Time to plant a bucket-o-basil.
She's only a month younger than Luke who is already dumping his clothes on the floor, I hear. :-) Oh, Penny, she is NAUGHTY. My uppance has finally come.
Actually I CAN'T GET tomato pie out of my mind either...so weird, I've been thinking about it all day. I'm actually in the process of writing a cookbook and was going to ask you if I could include the recipe. I would have to call it "Susan's tomato pie" though, because you and the pie are completely synonymous to me!
What What What?? I was going to ask you how you make tomato pie because I am thinking mine can be heartily improved. You can definitely do whatever you want with that recipe, but you have to let me know how you make it wonderful.
Paula Deen (yuk three times) makes it with MAYO. Why would you kill nice basil and tomatoes with MAYO? I think I might try it with fresh mozzarella. What do you think?
